This morning I woke up at 4.30 am, I was supposed to go take a picture in a well known ‘Instagram spot’ in Myanmar. I was tired and sleep deprived (have been for weeks) and completely uninspired and while I was taking a cold shower trying to wake up faster I asked myself “what the fuck are you doing? ...why are you putting yourself through hell to go take a picture a million other people already took and a million more will take?! What’s the fucking point?” I couldn’t find an answer. I turned the water off and went back to bed. I woke up hours later, I felt amazing and wrote 10 pages in a raw.
I want to make art, i want to do my own thing as uncool as that may be, and I sure as shit don’t want to be a sheep. I want my work to make people feel good about themselves, to make them dream and give them the strength to believe those dreams can become their reality, make them see thing differently.
The line between real and constructed is so blurred today I might as well play with it, might as well make art!
I don’t know where I’m headed with this ig thing but changes are coming. [that lightening ain’t real 😉✨]
🇮🇹Stamattina mi sono svegliata alle 4.30, dovevo andare a fare una foto in un noto ‘IG spot’ in Myanmar. Ero stanca morta (non dormo +di 4 ore a notte da settimane) e decisamente non ispirata e mentre ero sotto la doccia fredda per svegliarmi più in fretta mi sono chiesta “ma che cazzo stai facendo? ...chi te lo a fare di alzarti a Quest ora per andare a fare una foto che hanno già fatto in 1000 e faranno in altri 2000?!” Nn riuscivo a darmi una risposta credibile.ho spento l’acqua e sono tornata a letto. Mi sono svegliata ore dopo e ho scritto 10pagine senza fermarmi un secondo.
Voglio fare arte, voglio camminare su un percorso mio per quanto non figo possa essere, non voglio essere una pecora. Voglio che il mio lavoro faccia sentire bene la gente, che faccia sognare e che dia il coraggio di trasformare quei sogni in realtà’; che faccia vedere le cose diversamente. La linea tra realtà e finzione e’ già sfuocata, meglio divertircisi allora, meglio fare arte!
